Privacy Policy

What personal data this website processes, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Controller

Hoomara [legal form], [street], [postal code] Munich, Germany — email: team@hoomara.com. (Details to be completed alongside the imprint.)

Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit it, the hosting infrastructure processes technical data that your browser transmits — IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system — in server logs, to deliver the site securely and detect abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Booking form

If you book a call, we process the data you enter — name, business email, company, company size, and your topic — to schedule and prepare the conversation. The data is stored in our booking system (Supabase) and a notification email is sent to our team via the email service Resend. Legal basis: taking steps prior to entering into a contract at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We keep booking requests only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting engagement, unless statutory retention periods require longer storage.

Email contact

If you email us directly, we process your address and message content to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR depending on the nature of your enquiry.

Local storage, no tracking

The site stores a single value in your browser's local storage: your language preference (key "hoomara-lang"). It never leaves your device. We currently use no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies.

Recipients and international transfers

Processors acting on our behalf: Vercel Inc. (hosting), Supabase (booking data storage) and Resend (transactional email). Where processing takes place outside the EU/EEA, it is based on the EU standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. [Processor regions and data-processing agreements to be documented by counsel.]

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; for Bavaria this is the BayLDA. To exercise any right, email team@hoomara.com.
